Hi All,

Made a mistake and turned off Spam Filtering which stopped the
forwarding of E-mails to my FreeMail. Corrected the problem.

However a number of messages were sent to Freeport instead of FreeMail.

Question: How can I Pop FreePort E-mails and then delete those E-mails?
Can I copy or move FreePort E-mails to FreeMail? To
retrieve E-mails via Pop?

Thanks in advance!

Are you familiar at all with using Freeport? The link to telnet to Freeport is
on the Start page. http://www.ncf.ca/ncf/home/index.jsp

You can bounce your mail back to yourself by using Freeport's ELM mailreader.
That will place a new copy of your mail in your POP account. The elm
newsreader is at

Your Choice ==> go elm

Or just use " elm " at the prompt.

Your Choice ==>elm (then press your enter key)

Use your arrow keys to highlight each message and then one at a time for each
email press the " b " key (then press your enter key), then enter your user ID
"el850" (no quotes) when prompted for an email address (then press your enter
key). That's the procedure for each message.

If your arrow keys are not enabled (go interface) you can also enter the
number beside the email to highlight it. (then press your enter key)

Check your POP account and then use the "d" key (no quotes) to delete your
messages one at a time.

Perhaps there is a better way , but I would dialup or telnet to
Freeport (telnet.ncf.ca), start the elm mailreader (=====> elm),
and resend (hit 'b') each one to yourself (just el850 is good
enough) one by one and mark them for deletion (hit 'd').

You should be able to do something similar (hit 'f' to forward)
with the default Freeport mailreader (=====> mail).
